On World Environment Day 2025, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant presented the Best Environmental Practices award to Sarpanch Kamla Prasad Yadav and Deputy Sarpanch Aishwarya Korgaonkar in Panaji.
Chicalim Village Panchayat received first place under the UNEP theme Ending Plastic Pollution Globally, presented by the Goa State Pollution Control Board.
