Sarpanch Kamla Prasad Yadav has been recognised for a pioneering school bus initiative that improved access to the Government School at Dabolim for local children.
By sponsoring free bus transportation and supporting school infrastructure, the panchayat leadership helped rebuild parent confidence. Enrolment has been reported to grow from around 40 to more than 150 students - a foundation later strengthened by classroom expansion towards Class X and the Gomati Foundation’s education programmes.
