Village Panchayat Chicalim launched WOOW Heroes and WOOW App in collaboration with YIMBY on 26 January 2024. Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho graced the occasion.
The programme introduced Goa’s first decentralised village-level waste-to-wealth model under leadership of Sarpanch Kamla Prasad Yadav, with door-to-door segregation and citizen awareness components.
